Team frosty
A squad leader’s reflection of convoy OPERATIONS IN HELMAND PROVINCE
Team Frosty is the name designated to one of the teams of the legendary 541st Transportation Company, which was tasked with providing convoy security during Operation Enduring Freedom from 2010-2011. Through the leadership and dedication of the Soldiers, NCOs, and Officers of this unit, they were able to overcome a considerable amount of adversity. Ultimately, the Soldiers of the 541stTC received over 10 Combat Action Badges and 50 Purple Heart Awards, and the coveted Combat Action Streamer.
This is the first-hand account from the Squad Leader of Team Frosty. He shares intimate details of the many acts of bravery and selfless service displayed by the dedicated Soldiers of his team. In a raw and insightful way, this book captures those experiences based on a series of events that they encountered on different missions in Afghanistan. The service of these courageous men and women represents all that this great country stands for.
